Welcome to the South Toe Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department. Thank you for visiting our web site. You will find information and details on our operations, records of our brief history and incidents. South Toe Fire & Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization, and like so many others has limited resources. Our members come from all professions & backgrounds, some with vast experience and others just willing to learn. It is amazing how much we accomplish through faith, dedication, professionalism & teamwork!

We are fortunate that the community supports our efforts. Through fundraising & the support of the Community, we’ve been able to keep up with safety improvements and technology to ensure firefighter safety & performance. Over the past 3 years we are continuing to work diligently on our goal of improving our ISO (fire insurance) rating from a 9S to a more reasonable number. After years of testing & improvements we are very close to requesting our inspection, which is amazing for a VFD. Our goals are simple; life safety & limit property damage from fire and other emergencies while teaching and maintaining a strong Christian atmosphere and environment.
